Who is responsible for your data

Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which runs a small script in your browser to count visits without identifying you. The law lets us do this without asking first, as long as we tell you and let you object.
To object, use this switch, or email us at info@WithinTolerance.co.uk. The switch stores a single setting in this browser, not a cookie, and only if you use it.
What we collect, and why

You don't have to give us anything to read the site. There are no accounts, sign-up forms or mailing lists. Ticking a box on a checklist happens only in your browser and sends nothing to us. We make no automated decisions about you.
Who else sees data
Cloudflare hosts the site and runs the analytics. It also forwards emails sent to info@WithinTolerance.co.uk to our Gmail inbox, and doesn't keep their content. Google (Gmail) stores those emails. We don't sell your data or share it for marketing.
How long we keep it
Emails: two years after our last message, then deleted. Analytics are totals only and hold nothing that identifies you.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict its use, or transfer it. Email info@WithinTolerance.co.uk.
You also have the right to object to our use of your data where we rely on our legitimate interests, including the analytics above.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, tell us first at info@WithinTolerance.co.uk. We'll acknowledge within 30 days and reply as soon as we can. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Data outside the UK
Cloudflare (USA) receives data under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and under the ICO's International Data Transfer Addendum if that lapses. Google may store our emails outside the UK, including in the USA. It covers this under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and under standard contractual clauses. Email us for a copy of these safeguards.
